The blue checkmark is free for all Google Workspace clients, traditional G Suite Basic and Business subscribers, and personal Google account users. The functionality is an expansion of the Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI) feature launched in Gmail earlier this year.

How to get blue checks for Gmail accounts?

Brand Indicators for Message Identification, or BIMI, is a new email specification that allows the usage of brand-controlled logos inside email clients that accept it. BIMI capitalizes on an organization’s investment in DMARC security by delivering brand logos to the customer’s inbox.

To obtain the verification mark, one must first validate their logo on BIMI. Create an account on BIMI using the domain information following which upload brand logo and register it as a trademark. On Gmail, you may apply for a verified mark certificate (VMC) to obtain a blue tick mark for your brand logo.
